Canada’s immigration system continues to evolve, and so do IRCC’s processing times. Since July 17, 2025, some categories have seen modest adjustments, while others have faced more noticeable shifts.

Here’s a professional breakdown of the changes across permanent residence, temporary residence, work and study permits, visitor records, and citizenship.
